About Coach Carlos Florido

Coach Carlos Florido is the founder/CEO senior clinician of Brazilian Academy-IN. Coach Carlos is a Brazilian native former futsal and outdoor player for Santos, Brazil. Carlos has been involved in youth soccer since the early 1990’s. Since that time, Coach Carlos has succeeded in developing his coaching career in youth soccer education over 17 years as an International Coach. He has also  experience of the game in his 12 years as a player.

Coach Carlos started playing futsal soccer at age 6 for a local youth league in his home town Santos, Brazil,  played for Santos FC premier U12 through U17 and pursued soccer until College. He also has travelled to different countries to compete and trade educational soccer methodology. Some of the countries include England, Germany, Spain and Italy.

Over the past 17 years, Carlos has helped with the development of several players who through youth soccer went on to play college soccer to accomplish their college degrees and he assisted thousands of young players in realizing their full potential. In addition to directly participating in youth coaching, Carlos also has overseen over his Director of Coaching career more than 100 professional coaches in Brazil and the U.S .
